You see a Blu-ray player or TV on sale at Best Buy, put it on layaway at Walmart prior to Black Friday (note that it will be the regular price, but will be sold at the sale price on Black Friday). WalMart is discontinuing lawaway. The last date to put something in is November 19 and they must be picked up by December 8. The question is basically moot because there will be no more layaway.
